In the mid 2000’s, I created two web comics: Downtown Uptown and The F.U.B.A.R. Saga. Both comics are on an indefinite hiatus, however, characters from both comics could appear later in several videogames I wish to produce. The characters from The F.U.B.A.R. Saga will also appear in a series of books.
Downtown Uptown
This comic features cartoon characters I’ve created back when I was a child. Many of them were given a modern look and all of them were given a more modern sense of humor. This comic spawned Krelmac and Gentoo, the aliens that appeared in several videogames I’ve created with Omnytex Technologies. One flash cartoon (featuring Excel Saga’s Jessica Calvello as Catrina) was also created based on the characters from the comic. Click here to go to the archive.
The F.U.B.A.R. Saga
Meant to be my version of the X-Men, The F.U.B.A.R. Saga follows a massive battle between good and evil – supposedly. Taking a far more zany and far less serious tone than the books it was spawned from, the web comic spares no expense for laughs – and spares no celebrity’s head from the firepower of Devastator’s bazooka.
