Jockman(c. 1997)
Jockman was originally a white guy in the 1990 comic, and I decided Gryphon House (or G-Force at the time) needed something other than white folk running around in those stupid costumes. Granted, African Americans aren't known for ice hockey, but there's a first time for everything. Besides, I had my friend Derrick in mind when I redid Jockman, and Derrick's personality would be the perfect thing to build with (imagine Little Richard on crack). This drawing was made before the book was even considered to be written, so Jockman's hair is much more old-fashioned. His current dreds are replaced here with a fade.
