Gryphon House, et al(c. 2001)
A height comparison chart for eight of the characters with the near-final versions of their costumes. From left, Jockman, Shades, Gryphon (still being referred to as G-Man), Faith Lockwood (still referred to here as Trouble), Devastator, Dena Plumlyn, Yvonne Brooks, and MaryJane. This contains my first drawing of Yvonne Brooks, where I wonder if she should be taller. MaryJane, who normally is 6'1", is wearing three-inch heels in this drawing, which makes her 6'4" (not counting her hair). I'm not thrilled with the tattoos on her arm. All of the female characters seem to be unusually top-heavy, a problem I should probably correct if this becomes a comic again.
